About this program
Con Edison's Smart Thermostat program offers an $85 enrollment rebate for eligible devices controlling central air conditioning. Participants must have an eligible Wi-Fi thermostat and cannot also be enrolled in Smart Usage Rewards. Events temporarily adjust cooling during May through September; participants can override settings. Use the official program page to check eligible models and enroll. This is a utility demand response program, not a statewide thermostat marketplace. Eligibility and incentive terms should be confirmed with Con Edison before purchase.
