Hawaiian Electric's BYOD Plus program offers incentives for customers who purchase a new battery paired with renewable generation and commit capacity during a daily two-hour window. The program replaces Battery Bonus for new participants and gives Hawaii a current customer battery pathway after the Swell-operated Home Battery Rewards issue.
