ERCOT's Controllable Load Resource framework allows large industrial loads (>1 MW) — increasingly data centers, crypto miners, and electrolyzers — to provide Responsive Reserve, Non-Spinning Reserve, and ECRS ancillary services to the Texas grid. A flagship example of large-load flexibility.
